  Seminars & Presentations

Students will be taught to present and discuss topics chosen from the course outline. All presentations will be held in the conference room. Students will prepare a seminar topic. Seminars allow students to study subjects in depth and share their thoughts and ideas.

  Workshops

Projects conducted by the students are a very good example of workshops. Workshops provide learning experiences that help the student to develop strong analytical and creative thinking skills.

Workshops are used in the English, Business and Computing courses to demonstrate program development and to help students improve their English abilities through discussion.

  Open Learning

Open learning encourages students to become responsible for, and interested in learning. Inter-dependency between students and ECT is already established. This helps to develop dynamic and critically aware students. The ultimate goal of creating independent learners is the vision of ECT.

  Group work

Projects are given to students to develop group-work skills.

  Research papers

Students are asked to prepare research papers on various topics to help them develop an interest in research. Research papers are regarded as an integral part of course work.

  Presentations

Students are asked to give presentations on various topics. This helps in training them to develop good/effective communication skills and to maintain the students' confidence when facing the audience.

  Exams & Assignments

Most courses are subject to examinations or a mixture coursework and assignments. By answering exam questions or an assignment within a limited time, the student gains valuable practice and experience.
